EP2 FINLAND aims to advance physical performance, safety, and health in athletes, soldiers, and other target groups. We provide high quality and reliable information about the effects of hot, cold, hypoxic, and hyperoxic environments and help you to deepen your understanding about the benefits and detriments of environmental exposures.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Sports Institute Foundation for their invaluable support for the EP2 Finland program, enabling us to advance education and development in environmental exercise physiology. We will continue to enhance performance, health, and safety in extreme conditions such as high altitude, extreme cold, and intense heat, and will continue to spread information on how to best use these exposures to your advantage.

HULA’s director Juha Peltonen and his research group won the 1st prize for best research article in sports medicine with their article about intermittent hypoxia. The competition was held by the Finnish Society of Sport Sciences and the Liikuntalääketiede Suomi -network.
